Description
The Department of Organismal Biology & Anatomy at The University of Chicago a Lecturer in Anatomy whose responsibility will be to work with the course director to deliver Pritzker School of Medicine's first-year course, "The Human Body." "The Human Body" is an intensive course including gross anatomy, histology, embryology, and medical imaging. Duties will include practical demonstration in the dissection, histology, and embryology laboratories; preparation of online self-study modules, self-assessments, and exams; working with staff of other courses to ensure integration across the medical curriculum; preparation and supervision of grading of practical exams; recruitment and training of Teaching Assistants; administration of make-up exams; and management of the anatomy laboratory throughout the year.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must have a doctoral degree or equivalent.
