Duties

Contribute to education (including teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, developing relevant curriculum, supervising students under practicum/internship/research projects, and managing student activities and academic programmes) in the area of Social Work; actively engage in research and promote/participate in cross/interdisciplinary research; and contribute to departmental administration and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

A PhD in Social Work or related disciplines, with at least 5 years of post-qualifying social work practice experiences.  Candidates are expected to have a strong track record in research and publications in their specialized fields.  Preference will be given to those who are able to teach in multi-disciplines.

Salary and Conditions of Service

Remuneration package will be driven by market competitiveness and individual performance.  Excellent fringe benefits include gratuity, leave, medical and dental schemes, and relocation assistance (where applicable).  Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract.
