Description
The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Emergency Medicine, seeks Clinical Associates for renewable terms of up to two years at 10% effort. The appointees will provide direct patient care in the Center for Care and Discovery's Emergency Department (CCD ED). The University of Chicago Medicine is a STEMI receiving hospital, a Comprehensive Stroke Center, a Burn Center, and a Chicago South EMS regional resource hospital. This position does not require teaching or scholarly activity, and provides competitive compensation but no benefits.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, and 3) be Board certified or eligible in Emergency Medicine.
