Job Description
We invite applications for research fellow positions in Professor Loh Kian Ping’s group working in a corporate research laboratory based in NUS funded jointly by National Research Foundation, Singapore and Applied Materials. The joint lab is equipped with clean room and wafer scale plasma deposition system. The candidate should be a PhD graduate of top university in Physics, Chemistry or Materials Science and has achieved strong track record in chemical vapor deposition.
The candidate should be well-versed with plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition of carbon films, eg. Diamond, graphene, as well as the etching or processing of diamond films. Expertise include, but not limited to, the following
- Operation of plasma CVD system
- ATOMIC FORCE MICROSCOPE (AFM)
- OPTICAL SPECTROSCOPY and ANALYSIS
- Raman, Photoluminescence
- Experience in intellectual property development with diamond and carbon films
