Applications are invited for the Post of Junior Research Fellow to work on the R&D project titled “A Big Data Processing Framework to Model the Vector Borne Disease Dynamics based on the Seasonal Changes” supported by ISRO RESPOND Scheme, Department of Space, Govt. of India in the School of Information Technology and Engineering (SITE) , Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Tamil Nadu

Title of the Project

“A Big Data Processing Framework to Model the Vector Borne Disease Dynamics based on the Seasonal Changes ”

Number of positions: One [01]

Qualification

Essential:M.Tech./ MS/M.E./ equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology and Engineering with expertise in Data Mining / Big Data Analytics / Database Management Systems. Candidates must have atleast 7 CGPA or 60 percent marks in aggregate from a recognized technical institute or University as a full time program.

B.E/ B.Tech. /equivalent in Computer Science and Engineering / Information Technology and Engineering with valid GATE/equivalent score. Candidates with strong desire to work in Big Data Analytics or machine learning are encouraged to apply.

Stipend: Rs.25,000/- per month + HRA-.
