Job Description
The successful candidate will work with A/P Chng Shu Sin on applying genomic approaches to study bacterial outer membrane lipid homeostasis mediated by the Tol-Pal complex. The main responsibilities of the position include to design rational and unbiased ways to separate dual functions of the Tol-Pal complex in lipid transport and cell division. Perform all experiments related to this project. Guide graduate students on this project.
Qualifications
- PhD in Microbiology/Chemistry/Molecular Biology
- Skills: expertise in genomic approaches, genetic suppression and Tn-seq.
