Job Description Summary

Job Description
Candidate will assist in neurodegenerative disease research using a variety of established techniques including recombinant protein purification, biochemistry (e.g. western blotting, ELISA), immunohistochemistry, and molecular biology. Other responsibilities include using sterile cell culture techniques to generate, maintain, and analyze primary cultures and cell lines (e.g., dissection and plating, feeding, transfection, transduction, staining, and imaging). Experience working with small animals is also desirable, but not a prerequisite. The candidate must be able to work independently and within a team environment. Ability to multi-task is key and other duties will include data analysis, preparation of stock laboratory reagents, and documenting laboratory activities in an organized notebook.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree with 0-1 year of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies
