012900 Facilitation Specialist, UCD Innovation Academy Fixed term post until 31 December 2024 (and panel)

Our mission is to contribute to the improvement of society through transformational educational experiences.

We prepare learners for the challenges and opportunities of the Anthropocene and 4th Industrial Revolution by fostering Innovation Mindsets, with an emphasis on Creativity, Entrepreneurship and Leadership.

With 1000s of learners each year, 6 flagship programmes and a major strategic collaboration between UCD, TU Dublin and seven enterprise sectors (Convene), the UCD Innovation Academy (IA) seeks to recruit a panel of Facilitation Specialists for its ambitious four-year growth plan. We are looking for individuals with a passion for experiential education and with experience in at least one of our key areas: experiential education methods, creativity and innovation, entrepreneurship, leadership, soft skills, digital mindsets and sustainability.

Reporting to the Education Innovation Lead, you will facilitate the learning of students across undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as at shorter courses and events, ensuring high quality learning outcomes and innovative, 'next practice' initiatives. Collaborating with a team of 2-5 Entrepreneurial Specialists, Facilitation Specialists and Occasional Lecturers, you will create a vibrant learning environment (in-person and live online), You will support continuous improvement of current modules and courses, and innovate new approaches from identifying needs, prototyping, evaluation, academic approval and rollout. As a Facilitation Specialist, you will help build the credibility and financial sustainability of our programmes, enabling world-class innovative learning programmes with the potential for systemic change.

Salary Scale (AO1): €44,614 - €60,557 per annum
Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines
