ECU will soon be commencing a new phase in the development of its Next Generation Digital Learning Environment. This will be a significant program of work, both in scale and in the impact on the teaching and learning experience.
This role will form part of a Learning Management System (LMS) Academic Transition Project team located in ECU’s Centre for Learning and Teaching (CLT). The Academic Transition Project will contribute to the work of the CLT by ensuring a successful transition of ECU’s courses, staff and students into the new LMS. Working collaboratively with existing CLT staff, and staff and students across ECU, the project team will lead and support the implementation of the new environment, in line with ECU’s Technology Enhanced Learning Standards, and conceptualise, plan and implement a highly supported, whole-of-institution approach to staff and student adoption.
The Centre for Learning and Teaching in conjunction with the University’s LMS Project is seeking a Digital Learning Resource Coordinator to provide effective support services for learning and teaching technologies through the delivery of training and creation of quality resources for learning technologies.
Suitable candidates will meet the following selection criteria:
- A degree with at least 4 years subsequent experience OR equivalent level of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation
- Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to coordinate the development of a new suite of professional learning resources across print, media and web, to maximise and facilitate learning and development opportunities
- Experience in creating digital professional development resources that are engaging based on adult learning principles
- Experience as a facilitator / trainer with the ability to inspire and motivate adult learners, with a range of delivery modes and models and the ability to work across different professional groups

This full time, fixed-term position attracts remuneration of $90,220 - $101,090 p.a. plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
