Description

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Cardiology, is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank in the area of general cardiology. The successful candidate will have clinical responsibilities including outpatient clinic, reading EKGs, and inpatient consultation predominantly at our main campus and, if needed, at affiliated sites. Other duties will include training and supervision of trainees and students and scholarly activity. We especially welcome applicants with a background in clinical and outcomes research in preventive cardiology, adult congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension.

Prior to the start of employment, an individual must possess the following qualifications: (1) have an medical doctorate or equivalent, (2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Illinois, and (3) be Board Certified or Eligible in Cardiology.
