ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, CAREER EDUCATION, SPECIALTY MASTERS, Sloan School of Management-Career Development Office (CDO), to represent the CDO and ensure the highest levels of career preparation for Master of Finance (MFin) and Master of Business Analytics (MBAn) students in Sloan's rigorous, top-ranked programs. Will provide career development support and services for 170+ MFin students and 60+ MBAn students; provide one-on-one advising on all aspects of career development; actively contribute to the strategic design and delivery of relevant, innovative, and timely career programming for MFin and MBAn students who are largely international and early career; collaborate with the Employer Relations and Recruiting  team to maintain knowledge for advising, understand recruiting processes, and share insights with employers; remain actively involved in student-run business analytics- and finance-related clubs; and contribute to the design and distribution of timely CDO newsletters to students and customized resources and blogs for the Your CDO website.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor's degree (master's preferred); at least three years professional work experience; solid knowledge of analyst and associate level finance and business analytics careers; professional experience in finance, career development, and/or corporate recruiting; strong career development coaching, collaboration, and communication skills; high level of comfort presenting to large and small groups, both in-person and online; ability to think strategically, manage projects, set priorities, and meet deadlines; desire to innovate, continuously learn, and experiment; and appreciation for MIT Sloan's mission "to develop principled, innovative leaders to improve the world and to generate ideas that advance management practice." Seek a team player focused on impact with both student and team success.
