The School of Government and International Affairs at Durham University seeks to appoint a talented individual to the role of Assistant Professor. We welcome applications from those with research and teaching interests in the field of International Security and we are particularly eager to hear from applicants with a focus on contemporary collective security, international intervention, war studies, or defence. The successful candidate will be associated with the Durham Global Security Institute (DGSi) and teach on the MSc in Defence, Development and Diplomacy and the MSc in Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding - both of which involve continuing professional development programmes, fieldtrips, engagement with practitioners and policy-makers, and a capstone simulation.
