The Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) has a rich and proud history as one of Australia’s most prestigious schools for creative practice and research. The VCA brings together an extensive range of creative disciplines, including Dance, Film and Television, Music Theatre, Production, Theatre, Visual Art and Writing. The University is seeking an outstanding leader to join as Director of the Victorian College of the Arts.

Reporting to the Dean and a member of the senior leadership team of the Faculty of Fine Arts and Music, this role will provide strategic and management leadership to the VCA and thereby contribute to the operations of the Faculty. The successful applicant will have a strong leadership, artistic, research and teaching track record in one of the VCA disciplines. They will also demonstrate a sustained commitment to the importance of developing teaching at all levels with innovation in curriculum design and delivery, and of having developed scholarship and research for a university department or discipline area in previously held roles.
