The Assistant Coach would assist the Director of Men’s Golf in the administration of all aspects of the men’s golf program and shall include but is not limited to the following:

  • Assistance in coordination of daily operational schedule
  • Recruiting correspondence, plan, and forecasts
  • Mailing, calling, and/or e-mailing all necessary recruit correspondence
  • Assisting with the hosting of men’s intercollegiate tournaments
  • Assisting with fundraising event management
  • Developing / maintaining database needs for alumni relations and recruiting
  • Assisting with maintaining and management of varsity practice facility
  • Management of all team equipment and apparel
  • On course / tournament coaching
  • Workout and practice supervision
  • Assisting with team travel arrangements 
  • Student athlete mentoring and monitoring
  • Attention to all NCAA compliance, and budgeting issues
  • Leadership at the Stanford Golf Camps

Qualifications:

  • BA or equivalent
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Highly motivated
  • Knowledge and experience with of high level competitive junior, amateur, and professional golf
  • Ethical conduct
  • Passion for Stanford Men’s Golf and its quest to develop leaders and champions
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Trackman, Sam Putt Lab, TPI, ACS Software
