Job description
We are looking for an experienced Social Sciences tutor to teach on the King’s International Foundation programme at King’s. You will have demonstrable experience in developing materials in a variety of media, and will be able to demonstrate interest and experience in integrating technology into teaching, as well as in online and/or blended approaches to teaching.
You will be educated to a minimum of master’s level, and will hold an appropriate teaching qualification.
You will be based at King’s Foundations (Bush House) and, like all members of the Department, may be required to work on any of the King's campuses or from home.
Key responsibilities
• To teach on the Social Sciences module on the King’s International Foundation programmes both campus-based and online. You may also be asked teach on other modules depending on Centre needs and the skillsets of the successful candidate.
• To input on the design and development of the Social Sciences module.
• To contribute to departmental academic life and focus on the development of pedagogical excellence across programmes
The above list of responsibilities may not be exhaustive, and the post holder will be required to undertake such tasks and responsibilities as may reasonably be expected within the scope and grading of the post.
Further information
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract until 4th June 2021. This is a part-time post - 60% full time equivalent.
Interviews are expected to be held w/c 14th December and the start date for the role will be 4th January 2021.
