Dynamic and vibrant, Durham University Business School is one of Durham University's four Faculties and is comprised of three research-intensive departments: Accounting, Economics and Finance, and Management and Marketing. We seek to appoint an Assistant Professor (Teaching), with the goal of developing our expertise in Economics. The applicants will be expected to engage in scholarship related to pedagogy, noting that any other independent research (beyond pedagogy) is not part of this post. The appointment will be on the University's 'Teaching Track' career path, which provides clearly defined opportunities for progression against defined criteria.

You will be working with colleagues in our research centres of excellence specialised in areas such as Banking, Institutions and Development, Ethical Finance, Accountability and Governance, Economics Analysis and Mechanisms, Quantitative Research in Finance and Economics, and Experimental Methods in Business Research, Environmental and Energy Economics and have the opportunity to work with others across the School and wider University. You will have an opportunity to teach and supervise our excellent undergraduate and postgraduate students and doctoral researchers.
