Senior Research Scientist, Economics/Engineering

Energy Research Institute @ NTU invites applications for the position of Senior Research Scientist.

Key Responsibilities:

• Core expertise includes Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, DER Analytical Tools
• Develop competitive analysis and strategy of the energy market 
• Lifecycle management of new and existing product / solution – marketing, commercial standardization, sales, and product management
• Define and execution of delivery management methods for large scale R&D projects in the new IT involving Data Science techniques
• Planning, execution, monitoring and eelivering of multi-disciplinary technology project
• Convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs and written reports
• Prepare project reports and present results to all stakeholders and management
• Support or lead energy proposal development for new research projects

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Economics or Engineering from a recognized University or PhD
• Proven track record in the energy markets
• High Scientific Background –  IT exposures specifically in Artificial Intelligence (AI)
• Knowledge in Artificial Intelligence, and IoT applications
• Experience in software development
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
• Strong Global Customer exposure
• Experience with AI is required
• Knowledge of Block Chain and Data Science techniques is advantageous
• Understanding and Implementation of Energy Management Strategies is advantageous
• Strong people and leadership skills
• Minimum 10 years of experience
