Could you be a world-leading academic if only you had time to concentrate solely on your research? Are you on the verge of greatness but just need time and space to get on with your research?

If the answer is yes to the above, then a Cranfield University 75th Anniversary Fellowship could be for you.

Through the Cranfield 75th Anniversary Research Fellowship scheme, we are looking to provide a springboard for the future academic careers of some of the world’s most gifted researchers. We will give you the opportunity to conduct innovative research without the pressures to seek industry funding or teaching commitments. Throughout the programme, you will receive the support of a comprehensive career development programme and the chance to be mentored by leading academics, whilst benefiting from a strong peer support network.

All we ask is that you are brilliant – as an engineer, chemist, biologist, social scientist, economist or whatever your background might be. If this sounds like you and you are within 6 years of your PhD (career breaks excepted), then please follow the link to find out more.

Further details, including details of how to apply, are available on the Cranfield University 75th Anniversary Fellowship Scheme Webpage (LINK).

Our people are our most valuable resource and everyone has a role to play in shaping the future of our university, developing our learners, and transforming the businesses we work with. Learn more about Cranfield and our unique impact here. Our shared, stated values help to define who we are and underpin everything we do: Ambition; Impact; Respect; and Community. To further demonstrate our commitment to progressing gender diversity in STEM, we are members of WES & Working Families, and sponsors of International Women in Engineering Day.

Our equal opportunities and diversity monitoring has shown that women and minority ethnic groups are currently underrepresented within the university and so we actively encourage applications from eligible candidates from these groups.

We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and commit to exploring the possibilities for each role. Find out more here.
