The S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS), a Graduate School of Nanyang Technological University (NTU), is a leading research-intensive and teaching institution in strategic and international affairs and policy-oriented think tank in the Asia-Pacific region.
The RSIS is seeking suitable candidates for the position of Senior Analyst/Associate Research Fellow in the National Security Studies Programme. The successful candidate will conduct policy-relevant and scholarly research and analysis on issues pertaining to the post-war history of communism in Singapore and Malaya and small state security vis-à-vis Singapore, as well as contribute to RSIS’ multidisciplinary research agenda.
He/she is expected to provide research assistance to the Head and Coordinator of the Programme, copyedit research products and assist in organising conferences and seminars as needed.
Applicants should possess a Master’s degree in history, political science, international relations or related disciplines. Applicants should also possess good writing and research skills with an aptitude and interest for in-depth research in national security or a relevant field.
