POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE, Laboratory for Nuclear Science, to work on the GlueX experiment at Jefferson Lab. The main goal of GlueX is to understand the nature of confinement in QCD by mapping the spectrum of mesons in which the gluonic field binding the quarks is in an excited state. Will play a major role in R&D and construction of a focusing DIRC particle ID system for GlueX. The inclusion of such a system will greatly expand the physics potential of the experiment. Will also lead analysis of the data collected in the next few years.
