Research Assistant, UCD School of Medicine
Applications are invited for a temporary post of a Research Assistant within UCD School of Medicine / Conway Institute of Biomolecular and Biomedical Research.
This is an opportunity for a graduate level scientist to pursue interdisciplinary research investigating local and systemic immune responses to human respiratory tract bacteria, and how this impacts the pathogenesis of chronic inflammatory disease. Specifically, this research position will support the identification of immunogenic bacterial components that directly or indirectly promote T cell-mediated inflammation and generate preliminary data to support the targeting of these specific molecules in novel therapeutics for the treatment of complex diseases.
Research Assistant Salary Scale: €23,061 - €25,865 per annum.
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
