Job Description Summary

The Penn Memory Center (PMC) is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator A to join our multi-disciplinary team of health professionals.
This coordinator will lead or substantially assist other coordinators in the execution of clinical trials and longitudinal cohort studies at PMC. This work includes the recruitment and retention of potential research participants. This research recruits a spectrum of older adults including persons with no cognitive impairment and persons with cognitive impairment caused by Alzheimer's and other neurodegenerative diseases.

Job Description

The principal role of the CRC A will be to provide general research and administrative support for investigational and biomarker studies. Duties will include screening and enrolling study participants, maintaining telephone follow-up with study participants, data entry, coordinating and scheduling imaging visits , escorting participants to imaging centers, data entry/cleaning, as well as assisting with preparation and submission of regulatory documents to the study sponsor and Penn IRB.

The clinical research assistant will support the study team in new study start up activities.

Additional tasks may include imaging analysis and quality control. The CRC A will be expected to perform other duties as reasonably assigned.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 1-2 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
