Applications are invited for a three year fixed-term post of Senior Manager at The Hellenic Institute, Director of the Centre for Greek Diaspora Studies, funded by the A. G. Leventis Foundation.
The role combines administrative duties, fund raising responsibilities, management of public engagement events, and coordination of research activity. We encourage applications from candidates who can demonstrate strong profile in assessing and managing high quality research proposals, ability to expand institutional networks, and significant experience in working with the organised Greek and Cypriot Communities in the UK. Due to the seniority of this position, candidates should normally have a PhD or equivalent research experience in Modern/Contemporary Greek History and Culture. The Director is also expected to represent the CGDS in external functions which may be held outside the normal office hours.
This is a part-time (0.6 FTE) post to begin 01 February 2021.
