The School is seeking to recruit and appoint an inspirational academic at either an associate professor or professor level to join our dynamic team of community-focused and dedicated educators. The successful applicant will be an outstanding scholar who brings an established research agenda, a credible national and international research profile, a track record of quality publications and leadership in attaining and managing research grant funding. This individual should also be experienced in mentoring junior academics.
As a senior leader in the School, the Associate Professor or Professor would be required to have completed a doctoral qualification in a relevant field and have extensive experience as an academic leader. The position requires the incumbent to also possess a qualification in Occupational Therapy with the ability to practise in Australia. The Associate Professor or Professor will have a demonstrated capacity to engage effectively with local, national and international industry and to identify and develop opportunities for partnerships.
- A clear and coherent research program with a strong track record of active, sustained and productive engagement in high quality research
