The following Writing Instructor position is available in the Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education for the 2021 academic session.

Health Sciences Writing Centre (HSWC)
Duties:
To provide individual writing instruction to undergraduate and graduate students in five Health Sciences Faculties (Pharmacy, Kinesiology and Physical Education, Nursing, Dalla Lana School of Public Health and Social Work) on University writing, especially on organization, reasoning, style and language use. Instructors at the faculty on assignment are also expected to engage in teaching writing workshops and collaborating with faculty on assignment design/expectations and plagiarism issues. To provide individual writing instruction to undergraduate and graduate students in Nursing and four other Health and Sciences Faculties (Kinesiology and Physical Education, Pharmacy, Dalla Lana School of Public Health and Social Work).
Qualification:
Completed graduate degree from a post-secondary institution. Candidates should possess demonstrated skills for teaching analytical writing across a variety of health sciences disciplines. Previous experience teaching writing to university students is essential; experience in health sciences or social science writing instruction at the University level.
Dates of Appointments:
January 1, 2021- July 1, 2021
Estimated Support:
400 Hours
The following rates of pay are applicable:
$47.94 per hour plus vacation pay for Writing Instructor I; and
$51.55 per hour plus vacation pay for Writing Instructor II.
