Full-time: 35 hours per week 

The UWS Registry is looking for an Administration Manager to lead, manage and develop the Registry Administration Team to deliver a high quality, effective and efficient customer focussed student experience across all our campuses.  The Administration Team supports all the key functions of the Registry including enrolment, student records, graduation, timetabling, assessment board processing and student enquiries.  As Manager you will motivate and managing the team on a daily basis and will structure and allocate work to ensure delivery of an appropriate and efficient service.  You will proactively devise, implement and review procedures and systems to deliver high quality administrative support to the Registry Team.  You will also be responsible for identifying solutions and implementing revised processes in response to issues raised through student enquires, feedback from Schools, other Professional Support Departments and University priorities.

We are looking for a proactive, solution-focused and creative leader to develop a team culture that embraces change, reflects on practice, focuses on enhancements and ensures that an efficient and consistent customer focussed service is provided to all our students.

Educated to degree level or equivalent, you will have significant administrative experience at a leadership level with a proven ability to manage a team and be skilled in the use of Microsoft Office, databases and student record systems.  Experience in planning and co-ordinating the work of a team (including experience in training and developing staff) is essential and experience of working in Further or Higher Education would be an advantage
