The award winning Professional Development Centre (PDC) is seeking to appoint an innovative, forward thinking manager to lead our high profile Brunel Volunteers service.

You’ll be leading a committed and motivated team to drive up engagement from both students and a range of external organisations, helping our students enhance their employability skills. The role will involve leading on key events and initiatives throughout the year, including the annual volunteer awards dinner, Brunel Buddies and the volunteering fair. As the manager of Brunel Volunteers you will lead on the strategic direction of the service, building on the well established reputation of the department. Brunel Volunteers forms an important part of the PDC and you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across the department.

The successful candidate will hold a first degree, or equivalent transferable skills at an appropriate level and have experience of working in a student/HE environment. You will have project management and event management experience, along with excellent customer service skills to ensure a friendly, welcoming and effective service.
