Reporting directly to the Provost, the Executive Director, Office of the Provost is a member of the Provost Executive group. Leading a team of approximately 25, they will be responsible for a portfolio of strategic Chancellery and University-wide programs/ projects in the Academic and Student Life arenas. This will include overall governance, day to day management and on-time, on-budget execution. Additionally, the Executive Director provides executive oversight and support for a number of high-profile University Committees and Taskforces chaired and/or managed by University Executives. They will also work with the Provost and the Executive group to analyse the internal and external environments in which the University operates, identifying and targeting new opportunities to support the achievement of strategic objectives.

The Executive Director is required to contribute to the establishment of strategic direction, drive execution and build organisational talent within the team. A strategic thinker, with proven ability to work in a complex matrix structure, drive change and build support for ideas and actions, this role requires exceptional leadership and management skills including the ability to provide vision and innovation, leading to high performance outcomes.
