School of Computer Science and Engineering (SCSE) invites applications for the position of Research Fellow. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop algorithms to detect vulnerability in real-world intelligent systems applied in autonomous vehicles and other autonomous agents
  • Design algorithms to evaluate and improve the robustness of such systems
  • Build deployable systems and write research papers based on the research results

Job Requirements: 

  • PhD degree in Computer Science & Engineering or other related areas
  • Excellent background and research experience in artificial intelligence, formal modeling, autonomous vehicles and robotics and control
  • Excellent background in software engineering with advanced programming skills (C/C++, Python and MATLAB)
  • Knowledge on Robot Operating Systems and high-quality publications in top-tier venue related to robotics, autonomous vehicles and control is a plus

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
