ECU is rapidly increasing its research activity and we want to tell the world about it. This new role will work closely with the Manager, Corporate Relations and academic staff to develop strategies to promote research outcomes via a range of earned and owned media.
We are looking for a communications professional with experience in translating complex topics for broad audiences, developing media networks ranging from bloggers to senior journalists, and successfully operating in large and complex organisations.
The successful candidate will manage the research-focused communications activities of a small team and support the Manager on corporate issues as required.
You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.
Benefits & Remuneration
This full-time ongoing position attracts remuneration of $88,800 - $99,498 pa (HEW 7) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
