The Role

Maynooth University School of Business’ Mission is focused on developing critical thinkers and creating impactful knowledge for our community. We do so through a multi-disciplinary, egalitarian, research informed and externally engaged approach to learning.

We are recruiting an ‘Accreditation and Quality Officer’ to the grade of Administrative Officer 2. The role holder will work in close collaboration with the ‘Deputy Head of School, Accreditations’ to play a central role in guiding the School to continuously enliven our Mission. This new role will be responsible for generating, analysing and continuously improving the production of data and insights to inform the accreditations and continuous improvement strategy of the School of Business. As such you will be at the heart of the work of the School of Business supporting our faculty to achieve our strategic goals.

This new role is a great opportunity for the role holder to create a robust data repository and workflow processes that facilitate timely capture of insights relating to how we deliver our School Mission. The successful applicant should have working knowledge of creating and managing databases of information and supporting stakeholders to adhere to processes and standards. Experience with AACSB accreditation standards would be advantageous.

Administrative Officer Grade II (2020): € 38,736 – € 55,740 p.a. (9 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.

New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the Administrative Officer II scale.
