We aim to ensure that we equip our graduates with the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace upon graduation and throughout their professional careers.

The School of Engineering is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Civil Engineering. The successful candidate will take an important role in the development and delivery of teaching and research in this area. Applicants must have the potential or proven ability to develop an internationally recognised research program, excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

We are looking especially for applicants with experience in the following areas, although all outstanding candidates will be considered:

  1. Hydraulics
  2. Structural Design

Preference will be given to candidates who possess a PhD and who combine excellence in teaching with demonstrated capacity to conduct novel, interdisciplinary engineering research that will expand and complement the School of Engineering’s research strengths.

We are looking for people who can help us deliver our mission of transforming lives through inspired teaching and research, through our values.
