Singtel Cognitive and Artificial Intelligence Lab for Enterprises invites applications for the position of Project Officer.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Setup, test, implement, and maintain data management systems as well as coordinate with stakeholders, project sponsors and researchers on data requirements for a research project that involves development of an Intelligent digital AI App creation platform powered by AI, Machine Learning and data analytics for education applications
  • Support integration with front end UI and backend database, and contribute towards AI technology development as well as working with software team, researchers, developers and students on system integration
  • Develop the Software Design Document as well as its necessary sub-components for the software teams to achieve increased Technology Readiness Level
  • Key person to drive the software capabilities required and developing the intermediate and final milestones for delivery
  • Manage the software development leads as well as to ensure good quality of software codes with low defects
  • Provide the technical solutioning to piece together certain software capabilities

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related fields
  • Excellent background and translational research experience in AI, machine learning, data analytics, data security, cyber, or network
  • Excellent background in software engineering, database setup and management, with advanced programming skills in C/C++, Java, Javascript, Mysql, Apache, PHP or MariaDB
  • Good communication skills with strong aptitude to lead and manage AI translational research works
  • Technical skills in data management/artificial intelligence preferred
  • Project management skills
  • Multi-stakeholder management skills
  • People-skills to drive collaboration across government
  • Strong programming skills or other quantitative skills (e.g. statistical analysis)
  • Ability to both work independently and in small teams

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
