The Department of Medicine together with SLING, the Singapore Lipidomics Incubator at the National University of Singapore, invite applications from qualified candidates for the position of Research Fellow (RF). 

The Position
The RF will apply lipidomics, using mass spectrometry-based methods, to study "Lipidomic Signatures in Patients with Varying Histological Severity of Non-alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease". This is part of the EMULSION joint project between NUS and NUH in collaboration with Prof. Dan Yock Young, Department of Medicine, NUS. Research will include analysis of samples from both murine models and human patients.

Qualifications
The candidate must hold a PhD degree in chemistry, biochemistry or biology or related fields. The candidate will have an interest in data analytics too. Previous experience in mass spectrometry is required.

Good communication skills and the ability to work in a team are required qualities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the daily management of his/her project in coordination with the supervisor and other members of the group.

Recruitment and employment
The candidate will be offered a full-time RF position. Remuneration will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be notified.
