Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (Ref.: 502578), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering, bioelectronic medicine, biochemistry, biomaterials science, biomechanical engineering, medicine or a related discipline. Proficiency in written and spoken English is mandatory. Knowledge of and experience in biostatistics, biomaterials, biomechanics, 3D printing, computer programming, big data management, molecular and cellular biology cadaver and animal handling would be an advantage. The appointee is expected to conduct clinical and translational research related to 3D printing, healthcare big data, osteoporotic fractures, biomechanics and the development of new surgical tools/procedures employing different research methodologies. He/She will also supervise and mentor junior staff, and publish scientific articles.
