Job Details
A Project Officer position is available in the area of sensor development for driverless cars, in the School of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
The successful candidate will work with Prof. Danwei Wang and a group of Research Fellows, Research Associates and PhD/Masters/Bachelors students.
Job Responsibilities
- Setting product development strategies
- Presenting the products to third parties
- Communication with partners/collaborators/customers
- Preparation of presentations and media files for demonstration of the products
Job Requirements
- BSc in Mechatronic engineering or similar engineering fields
- Knowledge of market validation and product-market fit procedure
- 5 years of experience working in various industries
- Must be creative and proactive
- Must have perfect communication skills
Preference will be given to applicants with the following additional skill:
- Resourceful person who has a large network of producers and vendors in different industries

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.
The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility:
• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university.
Terms and Conditions:
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
