Energy Research Institute @ NTU invites applications for the position of Research Fellow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing overall project management and coordination to drive the project forward
  • Setting up the testing system and being professional in programming and software design
  • Performing experiments on the system
  • Writing project reports and academic papers

Skills and Research Areas:

  • Advanced Control, especially for air balancing system and modern power electronic systems
  • Control, reliability and stability of complex network systems
  • Optimization of distributed systems, especially for air balancing system and modern power electronic systems

​Job Requirements:

  • PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • An excellent scientific track record in complex power network and air-balancing system
  • Experience in all the following fields: microgrids, nonlinear network, stabilization, reliability and optimization of complex power network and air balancing system
  • Assistant Professor or Associate Professor experiences in other university is advantageous

About Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF)

The prestigious Lee Kuan Yew Postdoctoral Fellowship (LKY PDF) was established in 1991 under the Lee Kuan Yew Endowment Fund. The Fellowship supports and promotes young and outstanding researchers to realise their full potential in the areas of Engineering, Science, Humanities, and Medicine.

The Fellowship will be awarded concurrently with the candidate's appointment as a research staff in NTU.

Eligibility: 

• Excellent academic records and research potential.
• Recent PhD graduates, or with at most 1 postdoctoral training from a reputable university. 

Terms and Conditions: 
• The Fellowship will be tenable for a period of 3 years.  
• In addition to an attractive remuneration, the successful candidate will be awarded a research grant of S$180,000 for research consumables and research related expenditure.
