Job Description Summary

The primary functions of this position include: (1) Manage and coordinate all recruitment efforts; conduct telephone eligibility screenings; complete in-person study visits; consent participants; oversee study sessions. Manage the overall study calendar. (2) Develop/maintain training materials; Train personnel on center-wide and study-specific SOPs (e.g. data entry/QC, phone screening, data collection, computerized behavioral tasks). (3) Supervise 1-2 research assistants. Develop and manage study-specific training materials.. (4) Assist the Principle Investigator with preparation of IRB submissions and develop and manage regulatory materials and contribute to academic writing submissions; (5) Manage study product accountability; maintain inventory records of study related materials and equipment. (6) Coordinate data entry and quality assurance assignments and manage Penn CTMS enrollment and status updates (7) Attend weekly lab and staff meetings; report directly to PI. (8) Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position contingent upon funding.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree with 1-3 years of related experience in research and clinical study methodologies or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. The candidate should: (1) have practical experience working in a research setting be comfortable interacting with research subjects & research staff. (2) Be familiar with collecting data through neurocognitive and/or behavioral tasks. (3) Have regulatory experience (i.e. submitting protocols/consent, adverse event reporting, etc.). (5) Be organized and able to perform in a deadline driven environment. (6) Supervisory experience is highly preferred.
