Under the Sponsorship of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor Education, La Trobe has embarked on a major program of work to innovate its educational activities and student experience. The Clever Learning Program Management team provide leadership, oversight and coordination to support academic and service divisions across the University to establish and role out a range of initiatives and projects under the program.

About the position

The Policy Writer will lead the alignment of La Trobe’s policy suites with the outcomes of our major strategic program. The incumbent will work closely with a wide range of stakeholders to reform the suite of existing policies, procedures and guidelines, and develop new streamlined suites that are well-scaffolded, compliant within the Higher Education Standards Framework and aligned to the Clever Learning project outcomes.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this position, you will have a proven record of delivering a full range of policy reform activities in the education context, including writing of strategic policy/procedure suites compliant with the relevant regulatory and legislative frameworks in the higher education sector. You will have experience consulting with and supporting stakeholders through policy development, implementation and evaluation.
