Responsible for the LSBU Global Academic portfolio, the Director LSBU Global will be responsible for ensuring the academic management and effective operational delivery of LSBU Global, both in the UK and internationally.
LSBU Global is an expansive, ambitious and challenging initiative based on the solid ground of proven success. The expansion of higher education is one of the critical missions in many countries where LSBU Global can play a role.
You must be a strategic thinker, with a change-oriented approach focused on innovation, creativity, generating ideas. The post holder must be able to travel extensively within the UK and overseas.
Exciting work you will do
You will work collaboratively to maximize the positive opportunities and impacts for LSBU Group students and staff through leveraging partnerships and working with existing and new collaborative academic partners. This will include: raising aspirations of students in UK and overseas, creating learning opportunities for our students and staff through exchange visits and through promoting digitally enabled collaboration.
The skills and experience you will need to be successful
- Proven experience of developing and managing collaborative academic partnership activity both in the UK and overseas.
- Strong leadership qualities and skills appropriate to a senior management position including the leadership, development, and motivation of teams and individuals to inspire and secure high performance at all levels
