SENIOR EVENT CONTENT PRODUCER, MIT Technology Review, to support MITTR’s rapidly growing events business. Complementing the content generated from one of the world’s most respected technology media companies, these events and conferences are show productions of the highest quality.  Will supplement MITTR’s increasing lineup of world-class conferences and custom client programs; work closely with the events, editorial, marketing, and sales teams to accelerate the growth of MITTR’s live event product offerings by helping to develop and implement new event topics and themes and ensuring that existing conferences and events have appropriate, relevant, and compelling content for the market; and architect an agenda of enlightening speakers, immersive experiences, and engaging networking activities to deliver an exceptional attendee experience.  Will report to the director of event content and experiences.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: B.A./B.S. (graduate degree desirable); at least five years’ event programming experience, preferably within the technology space; ability to program events that satisfy a demanding, intelligent, technology-savvy, and highly literate audience; an understanding of how technology is affecting businesses and of the competitive events landscape; experience with programming emerging technology events; a desire to consistently enhance events and bring new ideas, both strategic and executional; excellent writing, editing, communication, and project-management skills; the ability to interact effectively with and manage the interests of a range of clients and stakeholders--including leaders in business, government, and academia--on sensitive and deadline-driven projects; and proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.  Job #19054-8
