Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology (Ref.: 502468), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. degree in biomechanical or biomedical engineering, neuroscience or a related discipline. Preference will be given to those with experience in musculoskeletal disorders. Applicants should also be self-motivated, organized and able to work independently as well as in a team. The appointee will work under the supervision of Professor Kenneth Cheung in a translational research team on scoliosis to develop and refine novel devices and assessment tools, validate their use in human subjects, as well as to use machine learning for predictive modeling.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.
