Overview

The School of Business and Law develops industry-ready graduates through high quality teaching and learning experiences and engaged, applied research. The School offers a comprehensive range of undergraduate and postgraduate coursework and research Business and Law degrees designed to give students relevant theory, practical work experience, and key employability skills.

The role

Currently the Law Discipline is seeking to appoint a Senior Lecturer (ALEVC) / Associate Professor (ALEVD) with teaching and research expertise and experience to develop and deliver primarily Priestley Units. The applicant is expected to make a significant contribution to the discipline’s research profile by producing high-quality research and actively participating in research communities.

Applicants must have a degree in Law (L.L.B), and a PhD in Law from a recognised Australian University. The applicant must have a demonstrated ability to develop collaborations, secure external grants and engage with the legal profession.

The incumbent is expected to teach in the following Priestly units:

  • Property Law
  • Criminal Law
  • Trusts
  • Administrative Law
  • Constitutional Law

Benefits and Remuneration

This full-time, Ongoing positions attract a salary of $122,561 to $140,828 pa (ALEVC) or $146,917 to $161,526 pa (ALEVD) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
