The University is seeking to recruit a Senior Lecturer in Computer Science, who wishes to embark on an academic career conducting quality research and lecturing on postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. Candidates will have a background that would complement our existing activities (Software Engineering, Programming, HCI). Outstanding candidates in other areas will also be considered.

The successful candidate will work closely with departmental academic teams and be expected to contribute to existing teaching and research.  Candidates will be expected to join one of our existing research teams relevant to their specialism, or participate in projects jointly launched by other members of the School and Faculty.

You will be able to demonstrate a strong teaching and research profile, and some experience of project management and grant applications would be desirable. You will have a good first degree (1st or 2:1) in a relevant subject together with a PhD.
