We are seeking an experienced parenting educator, clinician or similar to manage training activities within the emotion-focussed Tuning in to Kids® (TIK) parenting program at Mindful, Department of Psychiatry, University of Melbourne. You will play a major role in the dissemination of the TIK program by managing the training, adaptation, and supervision of professionals and organisations in their use of the program. High level knowledge and understanding of both normal and abnormal child development, the role of emotional competence in parenting, and experience with parenting programs, combined with competence in providing professional training in health, education and/or community welfare sectors, will be key to success in this role. Your experience in community engagement and networking, well developed verbal and communication skills, knowledge about research and evaluation and the ability to work independently will assist you in the role as Program Specialist. You will manage a team of administrative staff and Tuning in to Kids/Teens trainers, including independent contractors, to provide professional training in the programs.
