The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Nephrology, is searching for a full-time assistant or associate professor. The successful applicant will provide patient care and maintain a productive clinical portfolio. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
Candidates with suitable administrative experience may be named Medical Director of an off-site dialysis facility.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in Nephrology or equivalent, and 4) have prior clinical, translational, or laboratory-based research.
