TECHNICAL ASSOCIATE I, Picower Institute for Learning and Memory, to join the Choi lab. The group is dedicated to developing novel genetic techniques for neuroscience. Responsibilities will include DNA cloning, immunohistochemical processing, various biochemical and molecular biology techniques, confocal microscopy, mouse handling, surgery, behavioral testing, and other wet-laboratory work. 

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor's degree in the life sciences (e.g., biology, neuroscience, biomedical engineering) or a related discipline; two years of experience in a research laboratory; ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team; and strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

PREFERRED: programming skills and experience with animals. Job #19032
