School of Physical & Mathematical Sciences (SPMS) is inviting applicants for the position of Research Fellow under the group of Assistant Prof Yang Bo (NRF Fellow) from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Job Responsibilities
- Theoretical development of many-body localisations of topological systems which includes the development of numerical codes for analysing level statistics, time dependent dynamical evolution, as well as the scaling of entanglement entropy
- Collaborate with other group members on systems out of equilibrium and systems with strong interaction, to understand how many-body localisation and quantum thermalisation can be property defined for such systems
Job Requirements
- PhD in theoretical condensed matter physics or closely related fields
- Highly motivated
- Strong background in analytical and/or numerical methods
