Senior Lecturer (Practice) in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education
Salary range: £45,153-£51,914 per annum including outer London weighting

We are seeking to appoint a new member of staff to join an enthusiastic and highly successful Learning and Teaching team in the Education Department at our Hendon campus. The post will suit a highly motivated academic who is able to contribute mainly to the teaching of the Academic Professional Apprenticeship (PG Cert HE), MA Higher Education and MA Education. The post holder will also be expected to make a positive contribution to the research profile of the Education Department and Research Centre (the Centre for Education Research and Scholarship – CERS). The post holder must be able to demonstrate specialist knowledge in: •Pedagogy for higher education teaching and learning and in at least one area from the following: oPsychology of Higher Education teaching oResearch Methods oPhilosophy of Higher Education
This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and requires a Disclosure and Barring Service certificate. You are therefore required to disclose details of any criminal record. ALL criminal convictions, cautions, reprimands or final warnings, even if they would otherwise be regarded as spent under this Act must be disclosed, as well as any other information that may have a bearing on your suitability for the post, including pending prosecutions.
The University will apply for a DBS certificate before your appointment is confirmed.
