Working within the Department of Marketing, Operations and Systems (MOS), you will join a team of highly qualified academics with a passion for enhancing the student experience. You will contribute to research informed and technology enabled learning and teaching on our contemporary suites of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. In particular, the department has a flourishing suite of courses including recently revalidated programmes at undergraduate level in Marketing and Business and Marketing, alongside popular Masters’ programmes in Marketing and Digital Marketing and we are looking to add to our growing team of academics with a passion for this broad field or specialisms within. In addition to teaching, you will undertake research and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s research profile and development of its next REF submission, together with contributing to consultancy, enterprise, and other income generation and business development activities.

In short, we are looking for candidates with expertise in teaching and research in marketing in its broad sense, but who can offer one or more of Marketing Strategy, Retailing, Marketing Research and Metrics Advertising/Communication, International Marketing or B2B/Industry Marketing.

You must have (or be close to completing) a PhD or DBA in a relevant marketing field, ideally coupled with a record of publications. With excellent interpersonal skills, you must be able to demonstrate expert knowledge in the field and be able to teach effectively on a range of academic and professional programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning. You will possess strong quantitative and/or qualitative analytical skills and ideally be a member of an appropriate professional body.
